I love RealityJunkies, I often like the actors they work with, the work and camera angles they use, and the directing and staging are always top-notch.

However, the topics they raise and how they approach them are far too often off-base and misleading. Just because it's porn doesn't mean all the characters have to get out of the world of reality TV. I mean, why can't the scripts depict human reality?

I assure you that human psychology is quite simple and that the thought process unfolds exactly as I'm about to describe...

"It wasn't that I suddenly wanted to end my marriage too, I love my husband."
This is completely false. This woman has no love and not even a spark of respect for her husband, who was only a second choice because her so-called "friend" was already in a relationship. I don't see where the love lies in that..She simply married a man who provided the financial security she desired, and now she wants to have her cake and eat it too, maintaining that financial security while humiliating her husband and stripping him of all dignity as a man for her own happyness.

"The best thing to do is to blow up your marriage."
Except that in her mind, she's not putting her "marriage" in danger, but just her financial situation. If it turns out her husband is less gullible than she thought, she imagines that her "friend" will then take over financially as well. The proof? Simply the following sentence...

"Idk, he can be surprising, understanding" (With an eye roll that spoke volumes, the director didn't ask her to do that by chance, IMO).

The literal translation?
"My husband is a simpleton who would allow me to do anything for fear of losing me because, for him, I'm not just his backup plan like he is for me."

And finally, does the husband absolutely have to be a complete idiot and ignorant doubeld by being a wimp cuckold? Would it change anything in the scene if we learned that he asked for a divorce and that she ruined everything for a single fuck because her "friend" just wanted to fuck but didn't want to commit to a "woman' like her?
